John Harding is Senior Counsel with IslerDare, PC. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, John spent a decade practicing law in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment, and government and internal investigations with the national firm Winston & Strawn LLP.
John’s practice primarily focuses on the defense of businesses in employment and commercial disputes in federal and state court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation. He has experience litigating various employment matters, including claims arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. He also regularly litigates complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, defamation, duty of loyalty, and other business torts. John has experience as first chair trial counsel.
John earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Senior Research and Project Editor for the Virginia Environmental Law Journal. Before law school, John attended Brigham Young University where he received his degree in Political Science with a Minor in Business Management.
John resides with his wife and four children in Darnestown, MD.
